Plus I firmly believe it is a benefit if you can, when possible, introduce real body size images to kids instead of a constant flow of Barbie doll thinness. Check this out.
Bear Creek Paperworks: Plus Size Paper Dolls
If you are the creative type something similar to this could be an excellent do-it-yourself project. A parent could cut out the bodies from stiff cardboard. The kids could make and color the clothing. Or you could start off with the set of paper dolls available here at Bear Creek Paperworks and move from there to creating more clothing on your own.
I searched the web high and low for a freebie site to print your own for something like this and could find nothing. There are many sites for regular size paper dolls. If anyone is aware of a free print-your-own site online please let me know and I will add an update to this post.

Plus size doll . . . no, I am not talking about ME. Hehe!
Check out this link for a Plus Size Doll Maker. It’s really cute and I spent far too much time with it this afternoon. But oh well, what the heck. My little homeschooled kiddos didn’t need to learn math today anyway.
If you’re pregnant and plus size, good news. I’ve added a new site to my plus size MATERNITY links today. Plus sized maternity can be especially difficult to find but I’ve got a couple of good sources listed and added this new one today. Baby Becomming offers maternity and nursing clothing in sizes 1X to 6X.
I’ve also been working today on the plus size BRIDAL section of our site. Don’t look just yet. It’s not finished and not a lot online yet. All the work I’m doing is offline at the moment. But know that I am working on it and will have it upload and available for your viewing pleasure soon.

What’s cooking? Tonight for supper we all just needed something nutrition and FAST. I chopped up a nice green salad with romaine lettuce, green bell pepper, carrots, red onion, red cabbage, fresh cherry tomatoes (from the backyard), almond slivers, grated cheese, bacon bits, ranch dressing and croutons. I also opened a couple cans of soup and that was our meal. Sorry, no super duper recipes for you today.
