Legoland, California

Filed under: Travel — Amy @ 11:19 am

Seeing as we now have limited time left in Southern California the kiddos, hubby and I decided if we’re going to see some of the major attractions that now is the time to do it. Yesterday we went to Legoland and when the kids and I return from our house hunting trip to Texas we’re planning a few more excursions.

Legoland is a great place for kids, and we adults had quite a lot of fun as well. My park favorite was probably MiniLand where millions of Lego blocks are used to re-create buildings and locations from around the world. It made me want to go home and build myself. :-)

For a plus size report about Legoland — I faced no serious problems. For we plus size people there is the near constant concern that we’re not going to fit the rid or the seat belt restraint or through the turnstiles (did I spell that right?). The only problem I faced was on one of the roller coasters. The seat my son and I chose did not have a belt long enough to fit around me. We were asked to wait for the next car and it had a longer belt so no big problem. The turnstiles coming into the park were a squeeze but OK . . . and then my skinny little husband opens the gate beside me and walks through. Duh!
